How Do I Get Add-Ons?

The easiest way to get add-ons is to change the amount that you’re pledging by adding the amount of money for each add-on. To do this, you just need to click on your pledge, click “change your pledge” and put in the new amount. For example, if you wanted to get an Bulkhead ($25) add-on for your Red Vs. Blue Pledge ($100), you would change your pledge amount from $100 to $125!

The other way to get add-ons is to wait until the campaign is over, and the pledge manager is released. Once you get the pledge manager, you have the option to purchase whatever add-ons you want, or even upgrade your pledge level!

Remember though, only money funded through the pledges unlocks stretch goals! So, if you know you want that extra bling, add that money to your pledge level to help unlock more stretch goals!

What's A Pledge Manager?

A pledge manager is a web browser tool that allows you to control the funds you have pledged toward this project and make selections for the rewards you wish to receive after the project has ended.

Here’s how it works: once this Kickstarter campaign comes to a close on July 23, Kickstarter will charge your credit card for the amount of funds you pledge during the campaign. About 10-14 days later they transfer the funds (minus their cut) to an account connected to our Pledge Manager. We use Backerkit.

Shortly after that, you will receive an email invitation to the account we will have created for you in our customized Backerkit pledge manager. When you log in to your account, you’ll see a credit amount for 100% of the funds you pledged during the campaign and a menu of all the rewards you are eligible for based on your pledge level. At this time, you’ll confirm your shipping address and if you wish to add more funds to your account in order to upgrade your pledge level or just receive another reward, you’re free to do this. The pledge manager provides a great deal of flexibility for you to tailor exactly what you’ll receive. It’s kind of like an online store, except your funds pledged during the campaign will already be in your account when you sign in.

For overseas backers, the pledge manager is also where you will choose your shipping options.

Can We See The New Rulebook?

The Wintertime Wasteland rulebook is currently a work-in-progress. The main differences are the fiction and background for the characters and some art swaps. The rules are fundamentally the same. The differences to rules will be minor clarifications and some updates to include information that can be found in the presently available FAQ. If you know how to play Riot Quest right now, then nothing will change for you. And if you’re new to Riot Quest, then the original rulebook and FAQ contains everything you need to know to play.

Wintertime Wasteland Has New Versions of Old Characters. Can You Include Two Different Versions of the Same Character in a Crew?

Some characters have multiple iterations in Riot Quest, such as Black Bella, the Duchess of Dread, and Stonecold Black Bella. Since they are different models with different names and different Hero stat cards, they are considered distinct Heroes and you could include each of them once in your Crew. However, variant sculpts, like the characters found in the Loot Vault, just have different poses and details but are the same character as their original version, so you can only include one version in a crew. Remember, though, opponents may include identical characters in their respective crews, so having variants is a great thing!

Can We See the Warmachine/Hordes Rules for the New Characters?

The Warmachine/Hordes rules are all still in playtesting. We’ll preview them through Insiders and social media like we normally do, but for the Kickstarter campaign, we will stay focused on just the rules for Riot Quest.

Will I Be Able To Get Models From the Previous Block in the Pledge Manager?

Yes! We’ll make a good portion of the Riot Quest back catalog available as we know this is convenient for consolidating shipping costs on orders, especially for international backers.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
